It is made from 99.99% pure aluminium, electrochemically brightened and finished with vacuum-applied reflection layers under a dual-layer oxide coat, giving an integrated hemispherical reflectance above 95% with high total reflectance across 400–700 nm – the whole PAR range. Every ray from the lamp either reaches the plants directly or meets the reflector only once on its way down, so less light is lost and the canopy is lit more evenly.

Key Benefits

Over 95% reflectance with high total reflectance across the full 400–700 nm PAR range

Wide light distribution for even coverage with fewer hotspots on the canopy

Single-bounce design – light hits the aluminium no more than once before reaching the plants

Hard-wearing finish – an anodised base coat and dual-layer oxide protect the surface from abrasion and damage

No iridescent colour in the louvre, so reflected light stays true to the lamp's spectrum

Direct fit for DLI 6/750W and 1000W HPS fixtures

Hotspots and Uneven Growth Under a Worn Reflector

A reflector shapes the light at canopy level as much as the lamp does. Once its surface is scratched, dulled or dirty, reflectance drops, more light is turned into heat inside the fixture and the footprint narrows into a bright centre with dim edges – the familiar pattern of uneven growth, with plants at the margins stretching towards the light.
