Stems stay thin, branches bend under the weight of fruit and flowers, and soft tissue is an easy target for pests and disease. Silicon is laid down in the cell walls, adding the mechanical strength that nitrogen-driven growth alone does not provide. A steady supply builds sturdier plants that hold themselves up, cope better with heat and dry conditions, and put their energy into yield rather than repair.

How to Use

All systems and media: 1ml per litre alongside your main nutrients

Stage: throughout the plant's life cycle, from vegetative growth through flowering

Mixing: add Silicon to the water first and stir well before adding base nutrients

pH: silicon is very alkaline – check the solution and bring it back to pH 5.8 – 6.5

Technical Specifications

Type: Potassium silicate silicon supplement

Soluble silica (SiO₂): 6% minimum

Dose rate: 1ml/L

Solution pH after dosing: adjust to 5.8 – 6.5

Suitable for: All growing systems and media, alongside main nutrients

Stage: Whole life cycle, vegetative and flowering
