green-man-combi-system
Green Man Combi System – DWC and Drip Hydroponic System

Deep Water Culture Below, Drip Feed Above, One Central Tank

The Green Man Combi System is the flagship of Green Air Products UK's range and the multi-pot version of the Green Man combination pot. Every 40L combi pot feeds the roots two ways at once: a reservoir under the inner basket is aerated by a 4-inch airstone, as in deep water culture, while an air-powered pumping column lifts solution to a watering ring round the stem, drawing extra oxygen into it as it drips. The pots are linked by Iceline pipe to the Green Man Brain Controller and a central reservoir, and each pot's sloping, raised base drains it completely back to the tank, so the whole system shares one solution - nutrient strength, pH and temperature stay even from pot to pot instead of drifting, with no build-up in any one pot. Air does the work inside the pots, which keeps electricity use and noise low. Choose 2 to 16 pots with a rigid tank or a FlexiTank.

What's Included

Green Man combi pots (2 to 16 by option), each with an inner basket and combi pipe kit: pumping column, watering ring and water-level pipe

Green Man Brain Controller with timer

Reservoir: rigid tank or FlexiTank (by option), fitted with a Sicce Syncra Silent 1,350 L/h pump and Green Man connection plug

Iceline pipe and fittings to connect the pots

Key Benefits

Top and bottom feeding in every pot: an aerated reservoir below, a drip ring above

Air-powered pumping columns: no water pump in the pots, low power and little noise

One shared solution: the Brain and central reservoir keep EC, pH and temperature even across the system

Sloping, raised base drains each pot fully back to the reservoir and keeps roots off a cold floor

40L pots with inspection flaps for checking roots and solution level

2 to 16 pots, rigid tank or FlexiTank

How to Use

Set the pots out level and connect each one to the Brain Controller with the Iceline pipe

Seat a 4-inch airstone in each pot, run the airline up the corner notch and connect the airstones and pumping columns to your air pump

Fit the inner baskets, plant into clay pebbles and set the watering ring round each stem

Site the reservoir, connect its fill and drain lines and plug the pump lead into the Brain

Set the feed schedule on the Brain, then check EC, pH and temperature at the reservoir and look at the roots through the inspection flaps

Technical Specifications

Brand: Green Man (Green Air Products UK)

System type: Combination deep water culture and top-drip, recirculating

Pot capacity: 40L per pot

Aeration: Seat for a 4-inch airstone in each pot

Feed in the pot: Air-powered pumping column and watering ring

Control: Green Man Brain Controller with timer, 12 month manufacturer warranty

Reservoir pump: Sicce Syncra Silent, 1,350 L/h, Green Man connection plug

Reservoir capacity: 100L for 2 and 3 pots, 250L for 4, 6 and 8 pots, 350L for 12 pots (not published for 16 pots)

Reservoir type: rigid tank, or a collapsible Green Man FlexiTank in its place (by option)

Pipe: Iceline

Medium: Clay pebbles

Frequently Asked Questions

<details style="border:1px solid #e6e6e6;border-radius:8px;padding:12px 16px;margin:0 0 8px;">
What runs on air and what runs on mains?

Inside the pots everything is air-driven: a central air pump feeds the airstones and lifts solution up each pumping column to the watering ring.
