The Hot Box Sulfume is an electric sulphur evaporator that shields a grow room from fungal disease and certain pests without spraying plants directly. It gently evaporates pure sulphur rather than burning it, creating a fine sulphurous atmosphere that protects the whole space, covering up to 100m3 per unit.

Stopping mildew, Botrytis and spider mites before they spread

Fungal disease and mites establish fast in humid, still air and are far easier to head off than to cure once they have taken hold across a canopy. Running a sulphur evaporator as routine prevention keeps ambient sulphur high enough to stop spores and mites getting a foothold.

How to Use

• Fill the bowl with sulphur to the marked level.
• Suspend centrally, at least 1 metre below the ceiling for even distribution.
• Switch off intake and extraction fans while it runs.
• Run during the dark period on 8-hour cycles via a timer.
• Frequency: once weekly as prevention, or nightly for up to a week during an active outbreak.
• Ventilate and let the space clear before re-entering.
