Description
Serious extraction power without the racket
The IsoMax Acoustic Fan (Airforce 2) from Can-Fan is built for growers who need strong airflow but cannot tolerate a fan droning through the wall. A full metal housing packed with acoustic insulation foam targets noise from both rushing air and the motor, while a reliable Swiss-made rotor-stator motor sips electricity compared with similar fans. It is the deluxe choice for ventilation and extraction, available from 6-inch (410 m3/h) up to 14-inch (4,800 m3/h).
Key Benefits
- Airflow up to 4,800 m3/h across the range, from 410 m3/h on the 6-inch to 4,800 m3/h on the 14-inch
- Full metal housing with insulation foam cuts fan and air noise at the source
- 3-speed switch on 6-inch and 8-inch models, so you can drop the speed with no separate fan controller
- Swiss-made rotor-stator motor, highly reliable and very economical on power
- Compatible with most AC fan controllers, unlike Phresh HyperFans which need their own controller
- Two mounting brackets included and a surprisingly lightweight build
Need strong extraction without the fan giving your grow away?
Budget fans trade quiet running for a low price, leaving a constant hum or drone. The IsoMax's insulated metal housing and smooth Swiss motor tackle noise at source, delivering reliable extraction while keeping the sound and the electricity bill down.
How to Use
- Mount inline in your ducting or extraction run using the two included brackets
- On 6-inch and 8-inch models, set airflow with the built-in 3-speed switch
- For finer control, connect to a standard AC fan controller
- Pair with a carbon filter for combined extraction and odour control
Technical Specifications
- Motor: Swiss-made rotor-stator, low power draw
- Housing: full metal with acoustic insulation foam
- Included: two mounting brackets

Frequently Asked Questions
Which speed controller suits the 14-inch Isomax?
The 14-inch draws 5.2A and has no built-in speed switch, so it needs an AC fan speed controller rated above 5.2A, such as a 6.5A unit. Can-Fan's Satellite 4A transformer is rated at 4A, so it suits the smaller single-speed models, not the 14-inch.
Which Can-Lite carbon filter matches each Isomax?
Pair the fan with the filter of the same flange and similar rating: 6-inch 410m³/h with the Can-Lite 425, 8-inch 870m³/h with the 800, 10-inch 1,480m³/h with the 1500, 10-inch 2,310m³/h and 12-inch 2,380m³/h with the 2500, 12-inch 3,260m³/h with the 3500, and the 14-inch 4,800m³/h with the 14-inch Can-Lite 4500.
Do the 10, 12 and 14-inch models have a speed switch?
No. Only the 6-inch and 8-inch have the built-in 3-speed switch; the larger single-speed models run at full speed unless wired through an AC fan speed controller.
