Omega Black Air Cooled Reflector

The Omega Black Air Cooled Reflector encloses the lamp in a sealed housing that ducts to your extraction fan, drawing hot air out of the grow room rather than letting it build up around the canopy. It ships with a 5 metre cable and IEC connector that plugs straight into your ballast, and Omega recommends it for rooms that struggle with heat, where an open reflector would push temperatures up and hold plants back.

Fixing heat build-up around the lamp

An open reflector lets lamp heat radiate straight onto the canopy, pushing room temperature up and slowing growth. Sealed inside this reflector and connected to your extraction fan, that heat is drawn away before it ever reaches the plants, keeping indoor temperatures and plant performance in check.

How to Use

• Duct the reflector inline to your inline extraction fan so hot air is pulled through and out of the room.
• Connect the supplied 5m cable and IEC connector to your ballast.
• Hang at a safe distance above the canopy and adjust your extraction rate to hold temperatures steady.
