Description
Genuinely quiet, low-cost extraction with true EC speed control
The Phresh EC Silenced HyperFan brings quiet, energy-efficient extraction to grow rooms where fan noise, heat and running costs are the problem. Built around a purpose-developed EC multi-phase motor, it is a clear step up from the AC fans most growers start with, and ships with a detachable EC speed controller and a 2-year warranty.
Key Benefits
- EC multi-phase motor - energised up to 12 times per revolution versus 2-4 times for a standard AC motor, for smoother, more efficient running.
- Around half the power and heat - EC motors draw roughly half the wattage of an AC equivalent, cutting energy bills and heat load in the tent.
- Laminar blade and stator design - less drag and higher aerodynamic efficiency than competing fan designs.
- Silenced aluminium housing - lightweight aluminium padded with noise-absorbing foam, on larger sealed self-lubricating ball bearings.
- Soft-start motor - ramps up gently to reduce wear and tear versus a fan that jumps to full speed.
- Detachable EC speed controller included - adjust output from 35% to 100% to match your filter and ducting.
Cutting fan noise and running costs without losing power
Standard AC fans are often the noisiest and least efficient part of a grow room, running hot and drawing more power than they need to. The HyperFan's EC motor and silenced housing tackle noise, heat and running cost at once, giving strong extraction with far less racket.
How to Use
- Fit the fan in line with your carbon filter and ducting, keeping runs short and tightly stretched.
- Use the included controller to set output between 35% and 100% to match the airflow your filter and space need.
- For thermostatic rather than fixed-speed control, pair it with the Phresh EC Fan Controller.

Questions & answers
What sizes are available?
150mm (6in) at 535 m3/h, 200mm (8in) at 1,206 m3/h and 250mm (10in) at 1,810 m3/h.
Is a speed controller included?
Yes, a detachable EC speed controller comes with it, adjusting output from 35% to 100%. For thermostatic control, pair it with the Phresh EC Fan Controller.
Why choose this over an AC fan like the G.A.S Air AC (RadAir)?
The EC motor draws roughly half the power of an AC equivalent and puts less heat into the room, and the foam-lined housing keeps it quiet. The Air AC is the simpler AC alternative.
How is it built?
A lightweight aluminium housing padded with noise-absorbing foam, large sealed self-lubricating ball bearings and a soft-start motor that ramps up gently to reduce wear.
Is there a warranty?
Yes, it comes with a 2-year warranty.
