It reads the room through a precise NDIR CO2 sensor housed in a remote sensor enclosure that hangs up to 5 metres from the controller, so the reading comes from canopy level rather than the wall. You choose the target from 350 to 2000 ppm on the digital display, set a deadband, and the controller switches your CO2 source on below the setpoint and off once the level reaches setpoint plus deadband.

Key Benefits

NDIR sensing – the accurate infrared method used in professional CO2 equipment.

Setpoint 350–2000 ppm – from gentle top-up to full enrichment in a sealed grow room.

Built-in photocell in the sensor pod, so CO2 is released only during the light period.

Adjustable deadband – stops a regulator or burner cycling on and off every few seconds.

CO2 reduction mode – can run an extractor fan to pull CO2 levels down instead.

Plug-in design with a UK socket for the CO2 device.

Wasting CO2 Overnight?

Plants only take up carbon dioxide while the lights are on. A timer or a simple on/off regulator keeps releasing gas through the dark period and between readings, emptying cylinders for no gain in growth. Tying dosing to a real ppm reading and to the light level means every litre released goes into photosynthesis during the hours it matters.

How to Use

Hang the sensor enclosure at canopy height, away from the CO2 outlet and out of direct fan airflow.

Plug your CO2 regulator solenoid or CO2 generator into the socket on the front of the controller.

Enter your target ppm and deadband on the digital display.

Leave the photocell uncovered so the unit doses only in the light period; switch to reduce mode if you want it to run a fan instead.

Technical Specifications

Sensor: NDIR (non-dispersive infrared) CO2

CO2 setpoint range: 350–2000 ppm

Deadband: adjustable

Remote sensor: enclosure with built-in photocell, up to 5m from the controller

Modes: increase CO2 (regulator or generator) or reduce CO2 (fan)

Display: digital, push-button setting

Output: 1 x UK socket

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0748/7127/5786/files/superpro-d1-ppm-digital-co2-controller-default-title-1.jpg?v=1790229926
