Description
German-engineered inline extraction that just keeps running
The Systemair RVK fan is the best-selling inline ducting fan for hydroponic grow rooms and tents, valued for being powerful, reliable and genuinely maintenance-free. Built in Germany to a high engineering standard, it drives either intake or exhaust ventilation so your space stays in the temperature and humidity range your plants actually need. The sizes we stock span 100mm (4") to 315mm (12") and 184 to 1,346 m³/h, in both the standard-output A1 and the higher-output L1 motor.
Key Benefits
- A1 and L1 output options — the same duct size in standard or high output, so the 150mm goes from 430 to 720 m³/h and the 250mm from 860 to 1,080 m³/h
- Intake or exhaust duty — pull in cool, CO2-rich fresh air on intake, or rapidly clear hot, stale air on extract
- German manufacture — built by ventilation specialist Systemair to a high standard for long-term reliability
- Maintenance-free running — designed to keep working with no servicing or lubrication
- Strong airflow for its size — excellent value output, sized to work with carbon filters and ducting
- Carbon-filter ready — fits directly to a filter with a fast clamp or jubilee clip, or tapes straight to ducting
Beating heat, stale air and CO2 shortfall
A grow space without proper extraction runs hot, holds humid stagnant air and starves plants of CO2. Running the RVK as an intake or exhaust fan keeps fresh air moving through the canopy and pulls heat and moisture out before mould and heat stress set in.
How to Use
- Fit the fan in line with your carbon filter and ducting, clamping directly to the filter with a fast clamp or jubilee clip, or taping it to ducting run from the filter.
- Keep ducting runs as short and as tightly stretched as possible — every extra metre and every sag reduces the airflow you get at the far end.
- Match fan size to your tent volume and filter, and pair with a fan speed controller for quieter running when full output is not needed.
- Where a duct size offers both, choose A1 for a quieter standard-output fan and L1 where you need the extra airflow through a filter or a long run.
