The G.A.S Intake Duct Filter is designed to clean incoming air before it enters your grow tent or grow room. In hydroponics and indoor growing environments, fresh air intake is essential for healthy plant development, but unfiltered air can introduce contaminants such as dust, pollen, mould spores and pests. This intake filter helps prevent those problems by removing airborne particles before they reach your plants.
The filter cassette features a specialised zig-zag filter design, providing significantly more surface area than standard flat filters. This increased surface area allows stronger airflow while still effectively trapping contaminants, making it ideal for use with grow room intake ventilation systems.
Key Benefits
• Filters incoming air for cleaner grow room environments
• Removes particles larger than 10 microns (µm)
• Helps block pollen, mould spores, dust and spider mites
• Zig-zag filter design provides 7× more surface area than flat filters
• Maintains strong airflow while filtering contaminants
• Helps protect plants from pests and airborne pathogens
• Ideal for hydroponics grow tents and grow rooms
How It Solves Grow Problems
Unfiltered intake air can introduce pests and contaminants into indoor growing environments. Spider mites, airborne mould spores and dust particles can easily enter through ventilation systems, potentially damaging plants or spreading disease throughout the grow room.
The G.A.S Intake Duct Filter acts as a protective barrier on intake ventilation systems. By removing particles larger than 10µm from incoming air, it helps prevent pest infestations and reduces the risk of mould spores entering the grow space. Cleaner air supports healthier plant development, improves plant health and helps maintain stable growing conditions throughout vegetative growth and the flowering stage.
How to Use
-
Install the intake duct filter inline on the air intake side of your ventilation system.
-
Connect ducting from the outside air source to the inlet side of the filter.
-
Attach the outlet side of the filter to the ducting that feeds air into your grow tent or grow room.
-
Secure all connections using duct clamps or tape to prevent air leaks.
-
Periodically inspect the filter and clean or replace it if airflow becomes restricted.
Installing an intake filter helps keep your indoor growing environment clean and protected while maintaining the airflow needed for healthy plant growth.
