Propagation lights within our grow-lights range

Everything else on this page is built to push flower yield — 400W to 1000W HPS and CDM fixtures that run hot and bright. Propagation lights sit at the opposite end of the range: low-wattage LED and T5/CFL units that give seedlings and cuttings gentle, even light without the heat or intensity that would scorch them.

The Maxibright T5 is a full T5 fluorescent fixture, good for a shelf of clones or seedlings under one light. The Gorilla Propagation LED 12W and Omega 18W Clone LED Twin Pack are compact plug-in bars for a single tray, and CFL bulbs paired with a CFL lead and reflector make a cheap low-heat option if you already have the fittings.

Stepping up to a full-size light

Once seedlings or clones are ready to move into a tent, they'll need a proper HPS, CDM or LED fixture from the rest of this range — see HPS lights and CDM lights for flowering-stage options, or bulbs and ballasts if you're building a fixture from parts.
