Complete nutrient kits — a full programme in one box
A nutrient kit is the whole feeding programme bought at once: the base feed, the grow and bloom additives and the root and finishing products that a brand intends to be run together. The appeal is not only the price. A line built by one manufacturer is formulated as a set, so the calcium, the phosphates and the trace elements are balanced across the bottles rather than fighting each other in the tank — which is the usual reason a shelf of mixed brands underperforms a single tidy line.
Kits also remove the two decisions that catch people out on a first run: which products actually belong in a schedule, and how much of each to buy so they run out at roughly the same time. Every brand here publishes a feed chart for its own kit, so you can follow one document from first pot to last feed instead of reconciling three.
Pick by medium first
Medium decides more than brand does. Coco kits assume you are feeding at every watering and carry the extra calcium and magnesium coco strips out, so a soil kit used in coco will run short no matter how carefully it is dosed. Soil and terra kits lean on the medium to buffer and hold some nutrition of its own, so they feed less often and more forgivingly. Hydro kits are built for a solution that recirculates for days at a time, where the starting EC and pH matter more because there is no fresh run-off diluting a mistake.
Then pick by how many plants you are feeding
The newer kits are sized by plant count rather than by bottle — 1 to 4 plants for a small tent, 4 to 8 for the common square footprint, and 10 to 16 for a full room. Buying to plant count rather than to a price point is what stops you finishing the run on a half-empty bottle of base and a full one of everything else.

To build a programme yourself instead, start at base feeds and add from vegetative and flowering boosters. Check readings with a meter from meters so you are dosing on numbers.
