The Complete Five-Bottle Programme, Seedling to Harvest
The Aroma Formula Full Set from Growing Edge Technologies puts the entire mineral programme in one purchase - both vegetative macro bottles, both flowering macro bottles and the Microbase trace element feed that runs straight through. It is the sensible way to start on the system, because the Aroma method depends on having every bottle to hand: you steer the macro elements up and down as the plant asks for them while the micros stay pegged at a constant rate, and that only works if the whole set is on the shelf.
Each stage is split across an A and a B bottle so the concentrate stays stable - calcium and sulphate-based salts react and drop out of solution if they sit together at full strength. Keeping them separate until they meet in the tank means the minerals are still available when the plant gets them. The programme is built for reading the plant rather than following a calendar, using leaf colour to decide whether to push the macros or hold them, and it suits herbs, flowers and vegetables across hydroponics, soil and soil-less media.
What's Included
- VA - vegetative macro element base, Part A (4-0-2.5)
- VB - vegetative macro element base, Part B
- FA - flowering macro element base, Part A
- FB - flowering macro element base, Part B
- MB (Microbase) - trace element feed used through both stages (0-0-0)
Key Benefits
- Everything the method needs - no half-programme, no gap when the plant flips to flower
- Cheaper than buying the bottles separately
- Five-bottle control - move vegetative and flowering macros independently of the trace elements
- Micro elements held constant at 4ml per litre right through the cycle
- Two-part A&B format keeps calcium and sulphates apart in concentrate
- Works across media - hydroponics, soil and soil-less, for herbs, flowers and vegetables
Why Does a One-Bottle Feed Stall Halfway Through Bloom?
A blended nutrient fixes the ratio between macro and micro elements, so overall strength is the only lever you have. Raise it to meet flowering demand and the trace elements climb with it, which is where nutrient lockout, tip burn and poor nutrient uptake begin. Keep it low and you get slow growth, pale foliage and low yields from plants that ran out of room weeks before harvest. Holding the micros steady while the macros move removes that compromise, and having the full set means you can act on what the plant is telling you at any point in the cycle.
How to Use
- Vegetative: 24ml of VA and 24ml of VB per 10 litres for hydroponics, or per 15 litres for soil and soil-less media
- Order matters: add everything except MB, set the pH, then add 40ml of MB to the finished solution
- Vegetative pH: 6.1
- Flowering: move to FA and FB at 2ml above the rate you finished veg on, still with 40ml of MB
- Flowering pH: 5.7
- Reading the plant: light green foliage means increase VA and VB by 2ml or more; dark green means hold or reduce
- Hydroponics: change the nutrient solution every 4 days
- Soil: water before the medium dries out
