Reflectors for HPS and CDM grow lights
A reflector shapes and bounces light down onto the canopy instead of losing it up and out of the tent — the difference between an open reflector and a well-shaped one can mean real hotspots at the edges of your grow versus even coverage corner to corner.
We stock several shapes. The Eurowing Euro Reflector and CFL Euro Reflector are simple euro-style shades for even spread over a small footprint. The Omega Black Air Cooled Reflector takes glass and ducting so you can vent heat straight out of the tent — worth it if you're running 600W+ HPS in a smaller space. The Adjust-a-Wing Enforcer and Prima-Klima Azerwing are adjustable wing reflectors that spread wider for veg and pull tighter for flower, and the Maxibright Daylight Horizon is built specifically for CDM/CMH lamps.
Matching a reflector to your setup
Reflector choice depends on tent width as much as bulb wattage — a fixed euro shade works fine in a narrow tent, but anything over 1.2m wide benefits from an adjustable wing or air-cooled hood to avoid dark edges. Pair with any ballast and bulb combination, or see our matched HPS lights and CDM lights if you'd rather buy the whole fixture built.
