Description
Pull Lamp Heat Out Before It Reaches the Canopy
The LUMii AeroTube is an inline air cooled reflector. The lamp sits inside a toughened glass tube with a duct collar at each end, so your extraction fan draws air straight through the tube and carries lamp heat out of the grow room. A two-part dimpled external reflector throws the light down across the plants, and the lamp holder is removable for easy lamp changes. This is the 125mm (5") AeroTube, which connects directly to 125mm ducting.
Key Benefits
- Cooler grow room – most lamp heat leaves through the ducting instead of building up in the tent.
- Light closer to the plants – less radiant heat on the leaves lets you lower the lamp and use more of its output.
- Link in series – up to three AeroTubes can share one duct run.
- Two-part dimpled reflector – even light spread with fewer hot spots.
- Ready to connect – 4 m IEC cord set fitted, plugs straight into a ballast with an IEC socket.
Heat Build-Up Under HID Lights
In a small tent an open reflector can push temperatures well past what plants tolerate, forcing the lamp higher and wasting light. Scorched leaf tips, curling growth and dry air are the usual signs. Cooling the lamp with the extraction you already run keeps temperature and humidity under control and lets the light do its job.
How to Use
- Hang: suspend the AeroTube by its top hanger over the canopy.
- Duct: fit 125mm ducting to both collars and run it to your extraction fan so air is pulled through the tube; tape every joint.
- Lamp: fit an E40 lamp into the removable holder and close the tube.
- Power: plug the IEC lead into a ballast of the same wattage as the lamp.
