Drying and curing equipment
Drying and curing is where a good harvest is kept or lost. Dry too fast and you drive off the aroma along with the water; dry too slow in a damp room and you invite mould. The usual target is a slow dry in gently moving air at moderate temperature and somewhere around 55 to 62% humidity, followed by a cure in sealed containers where the moisture left inside has time to even out.
For the drying stage, hanging nets are cheap and perfectly workable: a tiered mesh drying rack or the six-layer Grow Tools Harvest Pro holds a lot in very little floor space. The WeDryer adds a fan and a carbon filter to the same idea so it can sit in a room you still use. At the other end, the Cannatrol Cool Cure and Cool Cure C2 WiFi hold temperature and vapour pressure to a set point for you, which is what you are paying for rather than extra capacity.
Curing is about holding humidity steady. Boveda and Integra Boost two-way packs sit in the container at 55% or 62% and move moisture in either direction as needed. Grow Tools Pop Top containers, 250mu mylar bags, Zip-Zag and Grove Bags are the containers themselves, and a Triminator moisture meter tells you when to move from one stage to the next rather than guessing.
