Installation parts and spares
Grow room temperature control, winter and summer
Most UK grow rooms have two separate temperature problems, and buying for only one of them is the usual mistake. In winter, lights-off drops the room well below where roots stay active, and an unheated tent in a garage or loft can swing ten degrees between periods. In summer, the lights and the incoming air work against you at the same time and extraction alone runs out of headroom.
For heat, tube heaters are the standard tent answer because they are low wattage and spread warmth along a length rather than blasting one spot. The Lighthouse Ecoheat comes with a digital timer, and the thermostatic version holds a set point instead of running flat out. An oil filled radiator suits a larger room that needs real output, and the Ora 2kW fan heater moves warm air about rather than radiating it. Whatever you fit, put it on a thermostat: the Lighthouse Wireless Thermostat stops a heater and an extractor fighting each other all night.
