Even background warmth that will not cook your canopy
An oil-filled radiator heats a grow room through multiple oil-filled fins, spreading warmth evenly rather than firing hot, dry air at one section of plants. Choose from 1000W and 2000W models. The 1000W unit runs a single heat setting with a user-adjustable thermostat and covers spaces up to 3m x 3m, measuring 35cm (L) x 35cm (H) x 15cm (W). The 2000W version adds a second setting at 800W, castor wheels, cord storage and coverage up to 4m x 4m. All models cycle on and off against the thermostat rather than running constantly.
Key Benefits
- Thermostatic cycling - the radiator fires only when the room falls below your set point, so it rarely draws its full rated wattage.
- Kinder to humidity - oil-filled fins do not dry the air the way a fan heater does, so leaf surfaces stay in better shape.
- Even heat distribution - multiple fins radiate around the room instead of creating one scorching hot spot.
- Sized for your space - 3m x 3m coverage from the 1000W, up to 4m x 4m from the 2000W, with 2500W for larger rooms.
- Dual power on the 2000W - switch between 800W and 2000W to trim running costs on milder nights.
- Easy to reposition - castor wheels and cord storage on the 2000W make it simple to move between rooms.
When Lights Off Turns Into a Temperature Crash
Aim for roughly 25°C with the lights on and no cooler than 18°C in the dark period. The trouble is the moment of changeover: as the room cools, the air holds less water and the surplus lands on leaves as condensation, which is exactly how rot takes hold late in flower. Many growers pre-warm the room for half an hour before lights out so the drop is gradual, and a thermostatic radiator does that job on its own.
How to Use
- Stand the radiator on a level floor with plants at least 30cm away.
- Set the thermostat to your target lights-off temperature and let it cycle.
- Bring it on half an hour before lights out to soften the temperature drop.
- On the 2000W model, use the 800W setting on milder nights to save power.
- Keep the fins free of dust so heat radiates properly.
