Humidifiers and dehumidifiers for tents and rooms
Humidity moves more between stages than most people expect, and getting it wrong costs you either way: too dry and cuttings will not root, too damp in flower and mould sets in. Our humidity guide works to roughly 70% RH for cuttings, 60% in veg, 50% in early flower and 40% towards the end.
For a tent running dry, the RAM 5L, Pure Factory 8L and Garden HighPro HumiPro are simple ultrasonic humidifiers. The G.A.S SonicAir 10L and 23L, Aqualine (2.3L to 23L), Grow Bitz and AC Infinity CLOUDFORGE hold more water and put out more mist, and the SonicAir Pro and Gorilla 50L suit a full room. Going the other way, the RAM 20L, Aqualine 12L to 40L and Gorilla 26L dehumidifiers pull water out of a tent or small room, and the AlorAir range handles large rooms. Dry Bag and Dry Pot need no power at all for a cupboard or small tent.
Damp and mould
A dehumidifier dries the air; a circulation fan stops still, damp pockets forming under the canopy, which is where mould usually starts. Most rooms need both.
