Two Dials, Two Targets, No More Lights-Off RH Spikes

A dedicated humidity controller for growers running an existing dehumidifier that has no useful humidistat of its own. Built by G.A.S., it uses two dials, the left for your daytime humidity target and the right for night time, and switches the dehumidifier on and off to hold whichever setting applies. A green LED lights while the dehumidifier is running, so you can see at a glance that it is working. Note that this is the dehumidify version and can only remove moisture; a humidify version is made separately.

Humidity Climbing the Moment the Lights Go Out

Room humidity behaves differently either side of lights-off. Air cools, holds less moisture and RH climbs, and that is when botrytis takes hold in dense tops and buds finish airy. Two independent targets keep transpiration and nutrient uptake moving in the day, then clamp moisture down overnight when the risk is highest.

How to Use

• Connect your existing dehumidifier to the controller's switched outlet
• Position the sensor at canopy height, away from the dehumidifier outlet and direct light
• Left dial: set your desired daytime humidity
• Right dial: set your desired night time humidity
• Check the green LED, which lights whenever the dehumidifier is switched on
• Rapid flashing LED indicates a sensor problem, so fit a replacement sensor
