Description

The biggest Storm in the range, for rooms other dehumidifiers cannot hold

Extraction at 30°C and 80% RH — the figure that matters in a grow room:

  • 130 litres per day (71L at AHAM 26°C / 60% RH)

The AlorAir Storm SLGR 1600X is the largest horizontal machine AlorAir build, rated at 130 litres a day and sized for spaces up to 7,000 sq ft. It uses SLGR microchannel technology, which pre-cools incoming air before it reaches the coil, so it keeps pulling water at low grain depression where a standard LGR machine stalls.

The Storm range is AlorAir's commercial line — built for flood restoration, construction drying and keeping large or awkward spaces permanently dry. Every unit has a built-in condensate pump so it drains upward to a sink or out of a window rather than needing a tank emptied, and all of them run from 1°C to 40°C with automatic defrost.

Key Benefits

  • 130L per day at 30°C and 80% RH, 71L at AHAM conditions
  • Covers up to 7,000 sq ft, the largest area in the Storm range
  • Condensate pump to 4.5m head so it drains upward to a sink or window
  • Retractable transport handles and built-in wheels for moving it alone
  • Quiet for its output at under 55 dBA
  • Runs from 1°C to 40°C with automatic defrost
  • Epoxy powder coating against corrosion in wet environments

When humidity is the thing limiting the room

Once relative humidity sits high, transpiration slows, nutrient uptake drops with it, and dense flowers become the ideal place for mould and mildew to establish. Extraction alone cannot fix it when the outside air is already damp, and a domestic dehumidifier will run continuously and still lose ground. A commercial unit pulls the moisture load out fast enough that the room holds the figure you set, instead of drifting up every night.

How to Use

  1. Stand the unit on a level floor with clear space at the intake and discharge.
  2. Run the condensate hose to a drain, sink or outside point — the pump lifts it, so it does not need to be downhill.
  3. Set your target relative humidity and let the unit cycle itself.
  4. Drop the target through flower to protect bud quality.
  5. Check and clean the filter regularly — a blocked filter costs you capacity first and the compressor later.
