The Gorilla GHC-01 Dual VPD Controller reads humidity through its own probe and switches two independent mains outlets — one for a humidifier, one for a dehumidifier — so the room is pulled back towards your target range automatically instead of you adjusting either device by hand. A backlit display shows the current reading alongside your high and low set points, with day/night set-point pairs so the target can shift between the light-on and light-off periods.

Humidity that swings too high encourages mould and slows transpiration, while air that runs too dry stresses plants and can dry out coco or rockwool faster than you can top up by hand. Running the humidifier and dehumidifier off one probe and one controller keeps both sides of that swing corrected automatically, rather than relying on manually switching kit on and off through the day.

How to Use

• Mount and wire: fix the controller within reach of a socket, and plug your humidifier and dehumidifier into the labelled outlets.
• Position the probe: hang the sensor at canopy height, away from direct airflow from a fan or vent.
• Set your targets: enter high and low humidity set points for day and night using the Menu and Enter buttons.
• Monitor: use the display's max/min log to check how stable the room has been over the last 1–31 days.
