The Dimlux Maxi Controller is a modular system that runs the Dimlux lighting alongside your fans and heating, and monitors CO2, vapour pressure deficit (VPD) and plant temperature depending on the sensors fitted. It drives up to 160 Dimlux Expert fixtures or Xtreme ballasts, switching them silently on its built-in timer and regulating output to whatever intensity you set. It also reacts to the room: once temperature passes your threshold the lighting dims automatically, then sheds half the fixtures, or all of them, until temperature drops.

Rooms That Run Away While You Are Not Watching

Lights, heaters and CO2 pull the room in different directions, and on separate timers nothing coordinates them. A hot afternoon closes stomata, and you get poor nutrient uptake, slow growth and excessive stretch even with a perfect feed. Reading plant temperature and VPD rather than just air temperature, and dimming before the room cooks, keeps the crop in range.

How to Use

• Connect fixtures or ballasts to wall sockets and link them to the controller
• Enter on and off times and set intensity with the + and - buttons
• Set a maximum room temperature so auto-dimming protects the crop unattended
• Add the sensors you need to unlock VPD and plant temperature control
• Try an asynchronous cycle such as 10 on and 10 off
