The Plenumbox is a strong insulated case that hooks onto the back of an Opticlimate closed loop system, over the filter. It solves two practical problems at once: it lets you site the OC unit outside the grow room, keeping noise, heat and service access out of your growing space, and paired with a 3-way valve it lets you split one climate system between two separate rooms. It arrives with 4 pre-cut holes so ducting can leave from whichever angle suits your layout, and you only open and flange the ones you need. Part of the Opticlimate spares range.

How to Use

Before fitting, cut the holes you need out of the pre-perforated metal with wire cutters and attach the correct flange size with Tek screws. Hook the Plenumbox onto the back of the OC over the filter and secure it with duct clips. Any ducting will work, though combi-ducting is a sensible choice as it is stronger than plain aluminium and copes better with humidity. If you are running two rooms, fit an OC 3 Way Valve to the front of the unit to divert the air, bearing in mind that split operation removes some functions such as de-humidification and pre-cooling.
