Run Water-Cooled Climate Control Without a Mains Supply

OptiClimate water coolers let you run an OptiClimate water-cooled climate control system as a fully closed loop, with no connection to a mains water supply and nothing going down the drain. It sheds the heat picked up from your room by transferring it from the water or glycol to colder ambient air, so it must be sited outside. The sealed loop means no evaporation and filling once, and a pump is included. Operation is very quiet, from 28 dB(A), energy consumption is low, and no air conditioning engineer or cooling gas is required.

Heat Build-Up and the Cost of Running Water to Waste

Water-cooled climate control is the quietest way to hold a grow room temperature, but plumbing it to mains and drain is not an option in most buildings. Without proper heat rejection, temperature climbs under the lights, humidity follows and you get excessive stretch, poor nutrient uptake and airy flowers. A closed loop recycles the same charge indefinitely, so the room stays in range and the water bill does not move.

How to Use

• Site the unit outside with clear air on the fan side
• Connect to your OptiClimate system and fill the loop once with water or glycol
• Wire it in with 3-core mains cable and 2 x 13 amp UK plugs (not included), one for the chiller fan and one for the pump
• Pairing with a Revomax: a fan/pump controller is required and is not included
