The Adjust-A-Wing Avenger is the top model of the Adjust-A-Wing family. It uses the same adjustable double-parabolic wings as the Enforcer and Defender, but the aluminium is vapour-coated with molten glass and titanium dioxide and then PVD ceramic coated, a surface that returns 95 to 97% of the light that hits it and is built to hold that figure for up to 20 years. This is the Large Avenger: 100 x 70 cm at its widest setting, made for single-ended HPS and metal halide lamps up to 1000W, and supplied complete with its E40 ceramic lamp holder on an IEC lead, ready for a lamp and ballast.

Hot Spots in the Middle, Stretching at the Edges
A fixed shade throws a bright, hot circle straight down and leaves the corners of the tent short of light. Plants under the bulb bleach or scorch, the ones at the edges show excessive stretch as they reach for light, and the usual fix - raising the lamp - cuts intensity everywhere. The Avenger's double-parabolic wings bounce that light outwards in an even sheet, so the whole canopy receives a similar intensity and the lamp can run closer without one heat spike under the bulb. Because the coating reflects more and degrades less than polished or painted aluminium, more of the power you pay for reaches the leaves, crop after crop.
How to Use
- Fit the lamp: with the power off, screw a single-ended E40 HPS or MH lamp of up to 1000W into the holder
- Connect: plug the holder's IEC lead into a ballast rated for that exact lamp - never mix wattages
- Set the wings: wide for maximum spread over a broad canopy, narrower to concentrate light where you need penetration
- Fine-tune: slide the lamp holder up or down to adjust the footprint
- Hang level from both ends and keep the lamp central so the footprint is not skewed
- Clean between crops with a soft, dry cloth - never abrasives or solvents on the coating

What is the difference between the Avenger, Defender and Enforcer?
All three share the same adjustable double-parabolic wing shape; the finish is what changes. The Enforcer is anodised aluminium at 86%, the Defender a titanium white powder coat at 92% for a diffuse spread, and the Avenger a glass and titanium dioxide coating at 95-97%, the most reflective and longest-lasting of the three.
Which lamps can I run in it?
Any single-ended HPS or metal halide lamp with an E40 cap, up to 1000W, driven by a ballast of the same wattage. Double-ended lamps need a DE fitting and will not go in this holder.
Does it come with a lamp or ballast?
No. The reflector arrives with its E40 lamp holder and IEC lead fitted; the lamp and ballast are bought separately so you can choose the spectrum and control you want.
Can I replace the lamp holder if it wears out?
