Description
Cool, even light for seeds, cuttings and microgreens
Garden HighPro LEDMAXPRO tubes are slim, low-heat propagation LED lights for rooting cuttings, germinating seeds and growing on seedlings and microgreens. Each set contains five tubes: the L set has five 10W, 55cm tubes (50W in total) and the XL set five 20W, 110cm tubes (100W in total). With a 14,000K blue-rich spectrum, IP66 protection against moisture and a rated life of 20,000 hours, they are built to sit close over humid propagator trays crop after crop. Garden HighPro designed them for the shelf levels of their ProBox Propagator tents – one 55cm tube per level in the Large, one 110cm tube spanning both bays of the XL – and they work just as well over any rack or bench of trays.
Key Benefits
- Five tubes per set – one for each level of a five-shelf propagation tent or rack.
- Runs cool – no excess heat, so tubes can sit just above trays and lids without drying or scorching young growth.
- IP66, humidity proof – sealed against the moisture and misting of a propagation space.
- 14,000K spectrum keeps seedlings short, sturdy and green.
- Low running cost – 50W for the whole L set, 100W for the XL.
- Waterproof plug-in connectors and mounting clips on every tube.
- Wide-voltage – 110–240V, 50–60Hz.
Leggy, Stretched Seedlings
Seedlings on a windowsill or under a weak light stretch towards it, producing long, pale stems that flop over and struggle after potting on; cuttings in dim light root slowly. A hot lamp brings the light up but dries out trays and cooks soft growth. LEDMAXPRO tubes put even, cool light a short distance above every tray, so seedlings stay compact and cuttings put their energy into root development instead of stretch – and young plants move on with less transplant shock.
How to Use
- Fit one tube per level with the clips, under the shelf above each tray and running along the length of the tray.
- Hang them close – around 10–20cm above trays or propagator lids is a good starting point; raise them if leaves start to pale.
- Run them on a timer – 16–18 hours a day suits most seedlings and cuttings.
- Keep connectors pushed fully home and route the leads so water runs away from the plugs.
- Wipe the tubes clean between batches to keep light output up.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I grow plants to full size under them?
They are a propagation light. At 10W or 20W per tube with a cool 14,000K spectrum they are made for rooting cuttings and raising seedlings and microgreens; for growing on and flowering you need a full-spectrum grow light.
Which set do I need?
Match the tube to the shelf width: the L set's 55cm tubes suit 60cm-wide levels such as the ProBox Propagator Large, and the XL set's 110cm tubes suit 120cm-wide levels such as the ProBox Propagator XL. Each set lights five levels.
Are they safe in a humid propagator?
Yes. The tubes are rated IP66, so they are protected against moisture and the misting that comes with a cuttings environment – keep the connectors fully joined and the leads routed so water drains away from them.
