The Gorilla Propagation LED Twin Pack pairs two slim LED strips that link together and run from a single UK plug, so you can set one strip along each side of a seed tray or propagator and light the whole surface evenly instead of leaving the edges in shade. Choose 60cm (2 x 12W), 90cm (2 x 18W) or 120cm (2 x 24W) to suit a single tray, a shelf of trays or a full propagation bench. Gorilla build the strips around a balanced, blue-weighted spectrum for strong root development and compact early growth, and each one sits in an aluminium body with a clear cover and sealed end caps, so it copes with the damp air above a propagator lid.

Leggy Seedlings and Slow-Rooting Cuttings
Under weak or distant light, seedlings stretch into thin stems that flop and transplant badly, and cuttings sit without rooting. A full-size grow light brings the opposite problem: heat that dries the medium and stresses plants with no roots yet. Two low-heat strips close to the plants give gentle, even light across the tray, keeping growth compact and sturdy and supporting strong root development.
How to Use
- Mount one strip along each side of the tray, or both over a wider bench, roughly 15-30cm above the plants as a starting point.
- Run an 18-24 hour photoperiod for seedlings and cuttings, switched by a plug-in timer.
- Raise the strips as seedlings grow, and lower them if seedlings start to stretch.
- Move plants under a full-power grow light once they are rooted and growing strongly.

Which size suits a standard propagator?
The 60cm pair. Gorilla supply their own 56 x 36cm propagator kit with two 60cm strips, one along each side of the lid. Go up to 90cm or 120cm for shelves holding two or more trays.
Do I need a separate driver or controller?
No. The pair runs straight from its UK plug. Plug it into a timer to switch the photoperiod automatically.
Are they strong enough to grow plants on to flowering?
No. These are propagation lights for seeds, seedlings, cuttings and early vegetative growth. Once plants are rooted and growing away, move them under a full-power grow light.
Will they cope with the humidity inside a propagator?
They are built for it, with sealed end caps and glanded cable entries on an aluminium body. Mount them on or above the lid rather than inside a closed, dripping dome.
