Description

Even, efficient light from seed tray to first pot up

The SunBlaster Complete LED is a self-contained propagation strip with the driver built in, so it runs from the mains without a separate ballast. The range spans 30cm at 8W up to 120cm at 32W, delivering 1,250 to 5,150 lumens depending on length, all on a 6400K daylight spectrum with a 120 degree beam angle that spreads light corner to corner across a tray. Each unit is rated at 50,000 hours, contains no mercury, runs virtually silent, and ships with flush mounts and hanging clips. Up to eight strips can be linked from one supply.

Key Benefits

  • 6400K daylight spectrum - the cool white light that keeps seedlings compact and drives steady vegetative growth.
  • 120 degree beam angle - covers the full width of a propagation tray rather than hot-spotting the middle.
  • 50,000 hour rated life - years of propagation seasons before output is worth reviewing.
  • Self-cooling low heat design - sits close above tender growth without cooking it.
  • Links up to eight units - build out a whole shelf or bench from a single socket.
  • Five lengths - 30cm, 45cm, 60cm, 90cm and 120cm to fit the space you actually have.

What Weak Propagation Light Costs You

Seedlings raised under thin or distant light stretch for it. You end up with leggy stems, wide internodes and a weak root to shoot ratio, and those plants never fully catch up once they are potted on. A dedicated propagation strip sits close to the canopy, spreads light evenly over the whole tray and gives every cell the same start, so the batch transplants together instead of in dribs and drabs.

How to Use

  • Fix the strip with the supplied hanging clips or flush mounts above your trays.
  • Position it close over the canopy and lift it as the seedlings gain height.
  • Link additional strips end to end where you need to cover a longer bench.
  • Run a long daily photoperiod for seedlings and cuttings, typically around 18 hours.
  • Wipe dust off the lens periodically to keep light output where it should be.
