Gold Label builds its nutrient range to match its own growing media — Hydrocorn clay pebbles and 60/40 coco-perlite mix — so the feed chemistry is tuned to how those specific substrates hold and release nutrient rather than being a general-purpose formula. Special Mix is the core base feed and Ultra PK covers the late-flower boost.

You don't need to be running Gold Label media to use the nutrients, but growers who are tend to see the most consistent results since the two were developed together rather than as separate product lines bolted on afterwards. It's a smaller range than the big Dutch names like Canna or House & Garden, focused on doing the core base and PK job well rather than a long tail of specialist additives most growers never actually use.
