ALIEN® RDWC 8 Pot 20L PRO Silver Series

The ALIEN® RDWC 8 Pot 20L PRO Silver Series is a compact recirculating deep water culture (RDWC) hydroponic system designed for growers who want the speed and efficiency of RDWC in smaller indoor growing spaces. By constantly circulating oxygen-rich nutrient solution between each pot, the system creates highly stable root zone conditions that promote rapid root development, vigorous vegetative growth and heavy flowering during the bloom stage.

With a system volume of 135L and a 120L CAMO® reservoir, growers can maintain stable pH and nutrient levels across the entire hydroponic system, improving nutrient uptake and overall plant health. The system can be configured with a minimum footprint of 1.85m × 0.7m or expanded to 2.3m × 0.96m depending on pipe layout, with recommended plant centres of around 50–60cm. This efficient layout makes it ideal for grow tents and compact hydroponic grow rooms where maximising yield within limited space is essential. The highly oxygenated RDWC environment can also allow growers to run shorter 7–10 day vegetative periods while still achieving dense, productive canopies.

The system is powered by the JET-STREAM™ SILENT 1.5 circulation pump, delivering up to 1350 L/hr while using 23W, ensuring consistent nutrient movement through the system. For strong root oxygenation, the recommended JET-80 air pump provides 80 L/min of airflow at 55W, maintaining the high dissolved oxygen levels needed for healthy root systems and improved bud density.

How to Use

1. Position the RDWC system in your grow tent or grow room according to the recommended footprint and plant spacing.

2. Connect the pots using the supplied pipework and link them to the CAMO® reservoir.

3. Install the JET-STREAM™ SILENT 1.5 water pump in the reservoir to circulate nutrient solution through the system.

4. Connect a suitable air pump (such as the recommended JET-80) to supply oxygen to the root zones.

5. Fill the reservoir with water and add hydroponic nutrients suitable for RDWC or other hydroponic systems.

6. Adjust and maintain pH and EC levels depending on plant stage, from vegetative growth to the bloom stage.

7. Maintain strong aeration and stable water temperatures to maximise nutrient uptake, root development and final yield.
