The SolisTek Matrix is a feature-laden digital ballast that fires both SE and DE lamps and runs at 106 kHz, one of the highest operating frequencies available. The headline feature is the built-in timer: you programme the lighting schedule on the ballast itself, so there is no separate contactor and timer box to buy, wire and fault-find. Multiple Matrix ballasts can be synced and driven from the same remote. A green digital read-out shows the current setting without disrupting the plants' dark period.
