Vegetative boosters for stronger roots and faster growth

Veg boosters sit alongside your base feed rather than replacing it, adding the amino acids, humic acid, silicon or beneficial microbes that push root mass, stem thickness and node spacing before you flip to flower. The bigger and more even the plant is going into flower, the more it can carry through to harvest, which is why most growers add at least one veg-stage booster even on a tight budget.

Mycorrhizal inoculants like Great White only work if applied early — they colonise the root zone as roots form, so dose at transplant rather than mid-veg. Silicon products such as Growth Technology Liquid Silicon thicken cell walls and are worth running from week one through to the last week of flower, typically 0.5 to 1ml/L. Amino and vitamin blends like House & Garden Amino Treatment or BioBizz Alg-A-Mic reduce transplant stress and are handy after any repot.

Coco growers should keep an eye on total EC when stacking more than one booster on top of a base feed — add one at a time and watch run-off before layering a second.
