Advanced Nutrients' 3 Part is the traditional Micro, Grow and Bloom system. Micro carries nitrogen, calcium and the trace elements and is used at every stage; Grow and Bloom shift the balance as the plant moves through the cycle.

A feed that is always slightly wrong for the stage

A one-part nutrient carries a single ratio for the whole cycle, so it is too rich in nitrogen at the end and too thin on phosphorus at the start. That shows up as excessive stretch after the flip and a harsh finish. Three parts let you follow the plant instead of averaging it.

How to Use

Order of mixing: ⚑ Micro first into plain water, stir, then Grow, then Bloom. Combining concentrates causes precipitate
Vegetative: all three parts at the same rate, ramping 1 ml/L in week 1 to 4 ml/L in week 4
Transition: Advanced Nutrients hold the 1:1:1 ratio throughout - there is no separate transition ratio on their chart
Flowering: all three at 4 ml/L through bloom weeks 1 to 7, then nothing during the flush
pH: 5.5 to 6.2 in hydroponics, 6.0 to 6.5 in soil

Note — Every figure above is per bottle: Advanced Nutrients run Micro, Grow and Bloom at the same rate, 1:1:1, all the way through. Nothing is fed during the flush. Mixing order matters — add Micro to the reservoir first and mix well, then Grow, then Bloom last, and never mix the three parts together as a concentrate. Shake every bottle before use. Advanced Nutrients cannot guarantee root-zone pH if pH Perfect products are mixed with another manufacturer's line. Check pH and EC after mixing.
