Agrothrin is a pyrethrin-based dusting powder aimed at the pests that live in and on the surface of your growing medium rather than on the leaves. Growers use it against thrip larvae, fungus gnats and their larvae, root aphid, silverbacks and springtails. Because it is dusted rather than sprayed, it stays put and keeps working far longer than a wet application in a warm grow room, forming a treated layer over the top of pots, trays and media where the next generation would otherwise emerge. How to Use
- Dust a light, even layer over the surface of the growing medium.
- Treat the tops of all pots, trays and any exposed media in the room at the same time.
- Reapply after heavy top-watering or when monitoring traps show fresh activity.
- Wear gloves and a dust mask while applying, and keep the room unoccupied until the dust settles.
