Description

Simple CO2 Enrichment for a Grow Tent - No Bottle, No Regulator

The AirBomz CO2 Dispenser is a battery-powered unit that releases measured bursts of pure CO2 from a small aerosol can on a timed cycle, lifting a small to medium grow tent towards the 1,200 ppm that light-hungry plants can use. A built-in light sensor means it only doses while the lights are on, and the remote control sets the number of sprays and the interval. It ships with a Maxi Plus 60 g CO2 can fitted and ready to go.

What's Included

  • AirBomz CO2 dispenser unit
  • Remote control
  • AirBomz Maxi Plus pure CO2 can (60 g)

Key Benefits

  • Doses only in the light period - the light sensor stops it wasting CO2 when plants cannot use it
  • 1 to 3 sprays at intervals of 5, 10, 20, 30, 40 or 60 minutes, or 2 or 4 hours, set from the remote
  • Battery powered - no mains lead in the tent and no heat added to the grow space
  • No gas bottle, regulator or pipework - a low-cost first step into CO2 enrichment
  • Each can lasts 1-4 weeks depending on tent size and spray frequency, and swaps in seconds

Why CO2 Runs Short in a Tent

Outdoor air holds roughly 400 ppm of carbon dioxide, and a healthy canopy under a strong light can draw a closed tent below that within hours. Once CO2 is the limiting factor, extra light and feed stop turning into extra growth - photosynthesis simply slows. Topping the air up in measured doses keeps the level where plants under good lighting can use it, supporting faster vegetative growth and stronger flowering.

How to Use

  • Fit batteries and the Maxi Plus can, then hang or stand the unit centrally, just above the canopy - CO2 is heavier than air and sinks onto the plants.
  • Set the dose with the remote: choose 1-3 sprays and an interval to suit your tent size, starting light in a small tent.
  • Leave the light sensor on so it doses only while the lamps are lit.
  • Slow or pause extraction during the dosing period where you can, so the CO2 is not pulled straight out of the tent.
  • Replace the can with an AirBomz Maxi Plus refill when it runs empty.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does one can last?

Between one and four weeks, depending on the size of the tent and how often you set it to spray. A larger tent or a shorter interval empties it sooner.

Does it spray when the lights are off?

Not with the light sensor in use - it doses only while the lamps are on, when plants can actually use the CO2.

Is it suitable for a large grow room?

It is designed for small to medium tents. A big or leaky room needs a regulated bottle system or a CO2 generator with a controller to hold 1,200 ppm.

Which refill does it take?

The AirBomz Maxi Plus can - the current, larger-capacity version of the AirBomz CO2 can.
