Description
One quiet foam box, two motor choices
The Airfan Foam Box Fan puts a centrifugal fan inside a moulded EPP foam housing that soaks up vibration and keeps noise and heat in the duct.
Thermo or Hybrid? The Thermo is a straightforward AC fan that runs at full speed. The Hybrid also runs flat out on mains, but add an Airfan Hybrid controller and it runs in EC mode for smooth, precise speed control.

Fan noise and heat leaking into the space around your ducting?
A metal box passes on vibration and radiates heat; the insulated foam shell absorbs both.
How to Use
- Mount in-line on a solid surface or bracket
- Clip ducting to both flanges: intake from the tent or carbon filter, exhaust outside
- Wire through the pre-fitted junction box
- Hybrid: fit an Airfan Hybrid controller (below) for EC speed control; Thermo: add an external AC speed controller or thermostat
