Description
Restore full ozone output without replacing the generator
AirOzone Replacement Elements are the corona discharge plates that make ozone inside a G.A.S AirOzone in-duct ozone generator. Over time the plates oxidise and ozone output falls, and odour starts to slip through the extraction. AirOzone is built to be serviced, so a fresh set of plates brings the unit back to full output and keeps the generator itself in service. Each option is the complete set for one generator size – from a single plate for the 6" up to eight plates for the 14".
Key Benefits
- Complete set per size – every plate the generator takes, in one order.
- Genuine AirOzone plates from G.A.S, matched to each unit's rated airflow.
- Restores odour control in your grow room exhaust when output has faded.
- Keeps your generator in service – the housing and electronics carry on working; only the worn plates are changed.
Is odour creeping back through your extraction?
An AirOzone works by ionising air over its plates to create ozone, which breaks down odour molecules in the ducting. As the plates oxidise, less ozone is produced and smells return even though the fan and carbon filter are fine. High humidity also cuts ozone production (G.A.S rate the units up to 80% RH), so plates in humid rooms are worth checking sooner.
How to Use
- Choose the set that matches your generator's duct size (6", 8", 10", 12" or 14").
- Isolate the generator from the mains before opening it – it runs at high voltage.
- Swap the plates, close the housing and refit it in the duct after the fan.
- Only run it with the extraction fan on, with at least 5 m of ducting after it, vented outside.
- Prefer not to do it yourself? G.A.S also offer servicing for AirOzone units.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which set do I need?
Match the set to the size of the AirOzone itself – 6", 8", 10", 12" or 14" – not to the length of your ducting run.
Do I get one plate or the whole set?
The whole set for that size: 1 plate for the 6", 2 for the 8", 3 for the 10", 5 for the 12" and 8 for the 14".
How do I know the plates need replacing?
When odour returns through the exhaust while the fan and carbon filter are working normally. G.A.S say the plates oxidise over time, so output fades gradually.
Can I fit them myself?
Yes, with the generator isolated from the mains first, as it uses high voltage inside. G.A.S also offer servicing for AirOzone units.
