The Alien RDWC 4 Pot 36L Black Series is a compact recirculating deep water culture (RDWC) hydroponic system designed for growers running smaller indoor growing setups who still want the performance benefits of professional hydroponic systems. By constantly circulating oxygen-rich nutrient solution between each pot, the system creates a stable root zone environment that supports rapid root development, vigorous vegetative growth and heavy flowering during the bloom stage.

With a system volume of 125L and a 120L CAMO® reservoir, growers can maintain consistent pH and nutrient levels across the entire hydroponic system, helping improve nutrient uptake and overall plant health. This stability helps prevent common grow room issues such as uneven growth, weak root systems and nutrient fluctuations. The system fits comfortably in smaller grow tents or compact grow rooms, with a minimum footprint of 1.23m × 0.9m and a maximum footprint of 1.55m × 1.17m depending on pipe configuration. Designed around 60–75cm plant centres, it allows growers to develop a productive canopy while maintaining strong airflow and plant spacing. The highly oxygenated RDWC environment also supports 10–14 day vegetative periods, helping plants establish quickly before transitioning to flowering.

The system uses the JET-STREAM™ SILENT 1.0 circulation pump, delivering up to 950 L/hr while using 16W, ensuring steady nutrient movement throughout the hydroponic system. For effective root oxygenation, the recommended JET-35 air pump provides 35 L/min of airflow at 20W, maintaining dissolved oxygen levels required for healthy roots and improved bud density.

How to Use

1. Position the RDWC system in your grow tent or grow room according to the recommended footprint and plant spacing.

2. Connect all pots using the supplied pipework and link them to the CAMO® reservoir.

3. Install the JET-STREAM™ SILENT 1.0 water pump in the reservoir to circulate nutrient solution throughout the hydroponic system.

4. Connect a suitable air pump (such as the recommended JET-35) to supply constant aeration to the root zones.

5. Fill the reservoir with water and add hydroponic nutrients suitable for RDWC hydroponic systems.

6. Adjust and maintain pH and EC levels according to plant stage, from vegetative growth through to the bloom stage.

7. Maintain strong aeration and stable water temperatures, using a water chiller where necessary, to maximise nutrient uptake, root development and final yield.
