Alien RDWC 48 Pot 36L Black Series

The Alien RDWC 48 Pot 36L Black Series is a commercial-scale recirculating deep water culture (RDWC) hydroponic system designed for very large indoor growing environments. Built for serious growers running high-output hydroponic systems, this setup continuously circulates oxygen-rich nutrient solution between every plant site, creating highly stable root zone conditions that support explosive root development, vigorous vegetative growth and heavy flowering during the bloom stage.

With a massive system volume of 1225L and a 550L CAMO® reservoir, the system allows growers to maintain extremely stable nutrient levels across the entire grow, helping maximise nutrient uptake and plant health across all sites. This stability helps eliminate common grow room problems such as uneven growth, weak root systems and nutrient fluctuations. The system can be configured within a minimum footprint of 5.6m × 1.8m or expanded up to 9m × 2.7m depending on pipe layout and spacing. Designed around 60–75cm plant centres, it allows growers to develop large, uniform canopies in commercial grow rooms while maintaining excellent yield potential. The highly oxygenated RDWC environment also allows growers to run 10–14 day vegetative periods, helping plants establish quickly before entering the flowering stage.

The system uses the JET-STREAM™ SILENT 2.5 circulation pump, delivering up to 2400 L/hr while using 40W, ensuring strong nutrient movement throughout the hydroponic system. For effective root oxygenation, the recommended JET-150 air pump provides 150 L/min of airflow at 125W, maintaining high dissolved oxygen levels essential for strong root systems, healthy plant development and improved bud density.

How to Use

1. Position the RDWC system within your grow room according to the recommended footprint and plant spacing.

2. Connect all pots using the supplied pipework and link them to the CAMO® reservoir.

3. Install the JET-STREAM™ SILENT 2.5 water pump inside the reservoir to circulate nutrient solution throughout the hydroponic system.

4. Connect a suitable air pump (such as the recommended JET-150) to provide strong aeration to the root zones.

5. Fill the reservoir with water and add hydroponic nutrients suitable for RDWC hydroponic systems.

6. Adjust and maintain pH and EC levels depending on the plant stage, from vegetative growth through to the bloom stage.

7. Maintain strong aeration and stable water temperatures, using a water chiller where necessary, to maximise nutrient uptake, root development and final yield.
