Alien Root Rot X – Hypochlorous Acid Steriliser

Alien Root Rot X is a fast-acting root steriliser for every hydroponic method, including RDWC, DWC, flood & drain, drip feed, NFT and rockwool. Its active ingredient is hypochlorous acid (HOCl), a powerful biocide with bactericidal, fungicidal, virucidal and sporicidal action that is 99.9999% effective against all stages of bacterial colonisation on roots, equipment and waterlines. Unlike most HOCl products it is manufactured completely stable and stays stable once opened.

In recirculating systems root rot and bacterial biofilm spread through pipework and starve roots at the exact point where uptake matters most. Root Rot X sterilises the whole system, clearing pathogens and biofilm from roots, lines and equipment for a clean reset instead of a symptom fix on the plant.

How to Use

• Weekly maintenance (water below 20°C): 1ml per litre every 7 days
• Weekly maintenance (water above 20°C): 1.5ml per litre every 7 days
• System clean-out: 20ml per litre, run pumps 1–24 hours, then drain and refill
• Final flush: 3–4ml per litre for the last 3–5 days of flower
• Cuttings dip: 15ml per litre, immerse cuttings 20 seconds before rooting compound; 3–5ml per litre for rooted clones
• Grow room sterilisation: apply undiluted by spray or fog to walls, floors and non-electrical surfaces
• Use with mineral-based nutrients only — do not combine with organic products
