The ALIEN® V-System 20 Pot is a powerful RDWC-style hydroponic system designed for growers who want exceptional root oxygenation, vigorous plant growth and consistently high yields in larger indoor growing environments. Unlike many traditional hydroponic systems, the V-System uses a JET-STREAM® Vortex™ pump positioned outside the header pot, reducing heat transfer into the nutrient solution. Cooler nutrient temperatures help reduce the risk of root rot and other pathogens, supporting stronger root development and improved plant health throughout the grow cycle.
Rather than using air stones or a separate air pump, the system uses vortex fluid motion to oxygenate the nutrient solution. As water circulates through the system, a whirlpool effect pulls air into the solution using a venturi principle. This ensures oxygen is distributed evenly throughout the entire pot, meaning roots receive high oxygen levels wherever they grow. The result is improved nutrient uptake, faster vegetative growth and stronger flowering with improved bud density and yield.
Large 58L V-POT containers provide extensive root space, allowing plants to develop large root systems that support bigger plants and heavier harvests. The wide 5” pipework and Vortex pump create a free-flowing system that distributes nutrients evenly across every pot for consistent growth across the entire hydroponic setup.

How to Use

Assemble the system using the supplied 5” spiral tubing and Dual-Flow™ fittings according to the system layout.

Install the JET-STREAM® Vortex™ pump externally and connect it to the push-fit feed connections.

Fill the system with water up to the indicated fill line and mix hydroponic nutrients suitable for hydroponic systems.

Place plants into net pots with an inert growing medium such as clay pebbles and position them inside the V-POT containers.

Switch on the system so the vortex water flow circulates nutrient solution and draws air through the venturi injectors to oxygenate the root zone.

Maintain stable EC and pH levels to optimise nutrient uptake during vegetative growth and the bloom stage.

Regularly inspect the system through the inspection covers and fully drain the system when refreshing the nutrient solution.
