Alien V-System 9 Pot

The ALIEN® V-System 9 Pot is an innovative RDWC-style hydroponic system designed for growers who want exceptional root oxygenation, strong plant health and consistently high yields in indoor growing environments. Unlike traditional hydroponic systems, the V-System uses a JET-STREAM® Vortex™ pump positioned outside the header pot, reducing heat transfer into the nutrient solution. Cooler water temperatures help minimise the risk of root rot and other pathogens, keeping the root zone healthier throughout the grow cycle.

Rather than relying on air stones or external air pumps, the system uses vortex fluid motion to oxygenate the nutrient solution. As water circulates through the system, it creates a whirlpool effect that naturally draws air into the nutrient solution using a venturi principle. This ensures oxygen is distributed throughout the entire pot, allowing roots to receive high oxygen levels wherever they grow. Improved oxygenation supports stronger root development, faster nutrient uptake and vigorous vegetative growth, leading to dense flowers and improved bud density during the bloom stage.

Large 58L V-POT containers provide extensive root space, allowing plants to develop large root systems capable of supporting bigger plants and higher yields. The wide 5” pipework and Vortex pump create a free-flowing hydroponic system that delivers equal nutrients to every plant site for consistent crop performance.

How to Use

1. Assemble the system using the supplied 5” spiral tubing and Dual-Flow™ fittings according to the recommended layout.

2. Install the JET-STREAM® Vortex™ pump externally and connect it to the push-fit feed connections.

3. Fill the system with water up to the indicated fill line and mix hydroponic nutrients suitable for hydroponic systems.

4. Place plants into net pots with an inert growing medium such as clay pebbles and position them inside the V-POT containers.

5. Switch on the system so the vortex water flow circulates nutrient solution and draws air through the venturi injectors to oxygenate the root zone.

6. Maintain stable EC and pH levels to optimise nutrient uptake during vegetative growth and the flowering stage.

7. Regularly inspect the system using the inspection covers and drain periodically to refresh the nutrient solution.
