Description
Split one 13mm feed line four ways without leaks
The Antelco 13mm barb cross is a push-fit, four-way connector that turns a run of 13mm irrigation pipe into a branching drip or feed system. Made in Australia by Antelco, a micro irrigation specialist since 1985, it suits low-pressure LDPE and flexi pipe in grow rooms, greenhouses, pot runs and raised beds, and is the simplest way to build a grid or manifold from a single supply line.
Key Benefits
- Four-way cross feeds three branches from one supply line, ideal for grid layouts and manifolds.
- Push-fit barbs – no glue, thread tape or tools needed.
- Tapered barb entry makes pushing on cold or stiff pipe far easier.
- UV-stabilised plastic rated to 300 kPa, built for years of outdoor and grow room use.
Leaks and uneven feeding
A fitting that works loose starves every plant downstream and floods the floor. Correctly sized barbs matched to 13mm bore pipe hold firm under normal feed pump pressure, so each plant gets its share of water and nutrient.
How to Use
- Cut square: trim the pipe with a sharp cutter so the end is clean.
- Warm stiff pipe: dip the end in hot water for a few seconds if it is hard to push on.
- Push fully home: seat the pipe over each barb, then fit a ratchet clamp on pumped lines.
