Description

High-Flow Submersible Pumps for Feeding, Filling and Draining

Aqua Grow Submersible Water Pumps are heavy-duty dirty-water style pumps built for moving large volumes of nutrient solution or water around a grow room. Choose the AG4002 at 400W and 7,000 L/h or the AG7508 at 750W and 12,500 L/h, with maximum heads of 7.5m and 8.5m. They suit big reservoir-fed drip and flood systems, transferring feed between tanks and emptying reservoirs quickly at the end of a run.

Key Benefits

  • Serious flow – up to 12,500 litres per hour for large irrigation runs and fast tank changes
  • High head height – up to 8.5m, so feed can be lifted to raised tables or across a large room
  • Handles debris – passes particles up to 5mm, so a little sediment in the tank will not stop it
  • Deep submersion – rated to 5m (AG4002) and 8m (AG7508) depth
  • Heavy-duty build – tough housing with a stepped hose tail that takes a range of pipe sizes

Slow Tank Changes and Weak Flow at the Far End?

Small aquarium-style pumps struggle once a system has long pipe runs, several levels or dozens of drippers, leaving the plants furthest from the tank short of feed. An undersized pump also turns draining and refilling a large reservoir into a slow chore. A high-flow submersible keeps pressure up across the whole system and empties a tank in minutes.

How to Use

  • Stand the pump upright on the floor of the reservoir, fully submerged, on a firm base.
  • Fit your hose to the stepped outlet, cutting it back to the size that suits your pipe, and secure with a clip.
  • Plug into a suitable socket, ideally via an RCD, or control it from a timer for flood and drain feeding.
  • Never run the pump dry, and rinse the intake between runs.
