The P700 Pro 2 is built to sit permanently in a reservoir with its electrodes submerged, giving continuous readings of pH, nutrient strength (EC, CF or PPM) and temperature rather than requiring growers to dip a pen in for a one-off check. That constant visibility matters most in larger or automated systems, where a slow pH drift or a dosing pump fault can go unnoticed for hours on a spot-check routine but shows up immediately on a screen that is always live.
It comes fully calibrated, runs on a rechargeable battery, and its improved software delivers accurate readings faster than earlier models. A large screen and simple buttons make it easy to switch between EC/CF/PPM display modes and Celsius/Fahrenheit on the fly. The housing is IP65 waterproof with IP67-rated electrodes, and because it is designed to run continuously submerged, both the pH and EC electrodes are replaceable separately from the meter body — worth noting that continuous submersion means it needs more frequent recalibration and electrode cleaning (watch for algae build-up) than a meter used for occasional spot checks.
