A genuine spare probe for the P700 Pro 2 reservoir meter
The P700 Pro 2 is built to sit permanently in a reservoir with its electrodes submerged, and that constant immersion is exactly what wears a pH probe out. A probe used for occasional spot checks spends most of its life in storage solution; one running continuously is in contact with nutrient solution around the clock, gathers film and deposits, and drifts further between calibrations. This is the factory-spec replacement pH electrode for that meter, built to the original P700 Pro 2 specification.
Aqua Master Tools make both of the P700 Pro 2's electrodes separately replaceable for exactly this reason: the meter body, screen and rechargeable battery outlast the probes by a wide margin, so a reading that has started to drift is a probe to change rather than an instrument to replace. It is IP67 waterproof, fits the same connector as the original, and drops straight in with no other changes to the meter.

How to Use
- Swap it powered down: switch the meter off, unplug the old electrode and fit the new one hand-tight.
- Calibrate before use: run the meter's two-point pH calibration at pH 4.0 and pH 7.0 before returning it to the reservoir.
- Never let it dry out: a pH glass bulb has to stay hydrated, so keep any spare in KCl storage solution rather than plain water.
- Clean on a schedule: a continuously submerged probe gathers film, so wipe it and recalibrate more often than a meter used for spot checks.
