Atami ATA Zyme, commonly known as Atazyme, is a pure natural multi-enzyme preparation built to break down dead root material and organic debris in the growing medium and convert it back into compounds the plant can reuse. Over a grow cycle, dead roots and organic waste build up in any medium, particularly in recirculating hydro and coco systems, and left unchecked that build-up can starve the root zone of oxygen and create conditions where root pathogens take hold.

The enzyme blend, including protease, lipase and cellulase activity, specifically targets that dead organic matter, breaking it down into simple compounds rather than letting it sit and rot in the substrate. This keeps the root zone cleaner and more oxygen-rich, stimulates beneficial microorganism activity in the growing medium, and reduces the risk of soil and root diseases building up over a long run. It also reduces the risk of over-fertilisation, since nutrients locked up in dead organic matter are recycled back into a form the plant can actually take up rather than being wasted.

It is suitable across hydroponics, coco and soil, and is typically used from the vegetative stage through to flowering, added directly into the nutrient solution alongside the base feed and other additives.
