Athena Culture Vessels are purpose-built plant tissue culture jars with a flip-top lid, designed to hold a single plantlet through the micropropagation cycle from initiation to rooted plug. Each vessel is moulded from high-temperature polypropylene so it survives repeated autoclave sterilisation cycles without warping or clouding, which matters in a tissue culture lab where cross-contamination from a compromised vessel can wipe out an entire batch.
The flip-top design gives gas exchange without a full seal, so the culture inside gets enough fresh air to avoid vitrification while staying protected from airborne contaminants during handling. The vessels are sized and shaped to fit directly into the Athena Flow Hood toolbox, so a grower running the full Athena Culture Kit workflow can move straight from sterile prep bench to loaded rack without repackaging anything.
