BioBizz Bio pH- is an aqueous solution built on citric acid found naturally in citrus fruits such as lemons, rather than the phosphoric or nitric acid used in conventional pH down. It adjusts fast on any type of substrate and any crop, which makes it the natural partner to an organic feeding programme where the substrate micro life is doing half the work. It is designed to run alongside the BioBizz nutrients, can be used at every watering, and is suitable through both the growing and flowering periods.

Alkaline Tap Water and Nutrient Lockout

Most UK mains water sits well above the range plants feed in, and a full-strength organic mix often drifts further alkaline as it stands. Above pH 7 iron, manganese and phosphorus lock out no matter how much you add - the symptoms read as slow growth, pale new leaves, weak roots, poor nutrient uptake and ultimately low yields from plants sitting in a tank of feed they cannot reach. Correcting downwards before you water keeps the root zone in range so the nutrients you have already paid for are available. Doing it with citric acid rather than a mineral acid means you are not resetting the microbial population every time you correct.

How to Use

• Mix nutrients first: add and stir every feed and additive before adjusting - they move the reading themselves
• Dose: add 0.1ml at a time to lower pH by approximately 0.5 points, stir for 10 seconds, then re-measure
• Soil: target pH 6.2-6.5
• Coco: target pH 5.8-6.2
• Hydroponics: target pH 5.5-6.2 and re-check daily as the plants drink
• Handling: always dilute into the tank rather than pouring onto the medium, and store cool and out of direct light
